Terms and Conditions

Contractual partner and legally responsible company is Hotelscout Ltd. (contractor to 2). By accepting this offer through a legally binding signature and company stamp this offer will be regarded as a written reservation order / confirmation of order, which is given by above mentioned customer (contractor to 1) to contractor to 2. The acceptance of this offer implies the acceptance of the general terms and conditions of contractor to 2 as stated on www.expo-tours.co.uk

Contractual Content

The exclusive purpose of this contract is to provide availability of rooms for the participation of the customer (contractual partner to 1) to exhibitions. The demand of hotel rooms surpasses the offer of hotel rooms. Thus not the single accommodation establishment is purpose of the contract but the distance to the fairgrounds and the quality characteristics of the hotel. 

With the return of the signed or stamped document, the customer proposed contractor to 2 the conclusion of a contract against payment. The acceptance of contractor to 2 takes place in written form. Changes and/or reductions of the number of rooms or the number of nights are not possible.

There are no ancillary verbal agreements. Changes or additions of this contract require written form. This also is valid for the invalidation of the requirement of written form for changes and additions. The general terms and conditions of contractor to 2 apply, available at on www.global-city-travel.co.uk. Sole place of performance and jurisdiction for all obligations arising out of the contract shall be London, United Kingdom. 

Option

If contractor to 2 grants their customers an option for an additional booking of hotel rooms, contractor to 2 is obligated to provide these rooms until the optional due date. In case contractor to 2 receives a request for the same optioned rooms from a third party, contractor to 2 hast to ask the customer who blocked these rooms if they want to book them. Contractor to 2 has the right to sell these options hotel rooms to the third party, if the customer who blocked the rooms cannot guarantee a binding booking within 24 hours.

Rebooking

Contractor to 2 guarantees and is bound by following reasons to accommodate the customer in a comparable or a superior grade accommodation establishment. The acceptance of the customer for the replacement hotel is obligatory, if

the accommodation company illegally refuses to provide the rooms.

the solvency index of the accommodation establishment deteriorated after the conclusion of a contract or at impending bankruptcy. This information is provided by the Creditreform association.

the accommodation establishment closes down or resigned

the operator of the accommodation establishment changes

a necessary written or oral contact with the accommodation establishment, e.g. for contract conclusion or transmission of the list of participants, is not possible for at least 6 days.

-there is another important reason that hinders or prevents contractor to 2 to provide the customer with the due services free of defects.

Supplemental costs for the replacement hotel are to the charge of contractor to 2. The hotel is considered as equal, if the distance to the fairgrounds with a deviation of 12 km (shortest distance per car) is equal and the accommodation are, following the terms and conditions of contractor to 2, of the same quality. The warranty rights of the customer remain untouched.

Payment/ Cancellation

Because of the contract contractor to 2 commits themselves subsequently to book the rooms on own behalf and to make them available to the customer. Contractor to 2 is authorized to allocate these rooms from an existing contingent.

The customer is committed to pay a 100% guarantee/security payment directly after a booking. If several payment dates and several partial amounts are specified, contractor to 2 allows a delay of payment until the notified dates for the payments to arrive on the account. The complete amount of booking is due immediately for payment, if a customer is behind schedule for a payment or if the solvency index at the Creditreform Association declines or the request for a credit insurance for the claim of contractor to 2 against the customer is refused. Contractor to 2 offers their customers a deferment of payment. Contractor to 2 has the right to claim 100% of the due amount payable immediately in case the customer cannot provide a valid credit card. In this case the cancellation fee is also accounted with 100%. Payments of the customer can be cleared for any claims of the parties. Contractor to 2 is authorized to withdraw from the contract on late payment and to claim cancellation indemnities.

Payments are to be made exclusively with debt-free effect to Hotelscout LTD.
